A Grade Captain’s Knockout

Today was the A graders turn to play the Captains Knock.

10 teams lined up to do battle and option of 2 teams for each team created some interesting pairs and matches throughout the day.

After the round robin only four teams could progress to the finals.

Wizards A took the top spot closely followed by Wizards B. The Sharks finished in third and Broken Rovers in Fourth.

Wizards A defeated Wizards B 3/1 to progress straight to the grand final. The Sharks defeated Broken Rovers 3/2 to survive the elimination final and the opportunity to play Wizards B for a spot in the grand final.

The Sharks took the 2nd qualifying final 3/2 in another tight match to earn a spot in the grand final against Wizards A

The Grand final did not disappoint with it going to the final frame.
